Introducing Elliott Dorothy Dawson!
Whew. We made it. We have 1,000,000 emotions right now and could write for hours, but we are worn out. I’m working to collect my thoughts and I’ll get some up on my “Thoughts from Homer” page, but for the time being we are ecstatic to introduce you to our daughter, Elliott Dorothy Dawson. She’s beautiful. She’s perfect and She’s absolutely healthy.
She was born at 7:11pm weighing in at 6lbs, 14oz and measuring 19 1/2″ tall. Both Kari and baby Elle are doing wonderfully, but both very tired and sore. See the mini slide show here to see some pictures from night #1. I’m sure there will be many more to come. Thanks for all the text messages, e-mails and voice mails. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can - we’re sure you understand that we’re a bit busy right now

WOW, they say Beautiful people have ugly babies. Leave it to you two to prove that a huge lie! SHE IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! Just like her mommy. Kari I’m so proud of you! After reading and crying about Homer’s post about the delivery. I can honestly say. I’m not surprised at all! You are the most driven and determined person I have ever met, your my inspiration and my hero! I love you so much. Give Elle a hug and kiss for me and tell her, her Aunti Candi and cousin Chloe can not wait to meet her. (Robbie can’t wait to meet you both.LOL)
I can finally say it! Welcome to the CLUB! Also I didn’t forget you Homer I hope you liked the book. Thank you for being such an amazing Man, Husband and now DADDY!!! Kari is blessed to have you as her “rock”. Love you all, CONGRATS!!!!

She is stunning! So happy for the 3 of you, and excited to see her grow-up into a little lady, having tea parties with flower dresses and white hats! Oh the adventure and fun you’re in for! T-ball, dance recitals, gosh the list goes on! YAY!
